Yoshio Hayashi is an illustrator of children’s books connected with Japanese folktales and fairy tales for young readers. His work with Florence Sakade includes Japanese Children’s Favorite Stories, Book 2, published in 2004, and Urashima Taro And Other Japanese Children’s Favorite Stories, published in 1958.
Hayashi provided illustrations for More Japanese Children’s Favorite Stories by Florence Sakade. The book presents sixteen Japanese fairy tales and folk stories for children, including stories with characters such as a princess, a farmer and a dragon.
Hayashi also illustrated Kintaro’s Adventures and Other Japanese Children’s Stories by Florence Sakade, a children’s collection connected with Japanese stories.
