Our free K-12 resources bring together practical K-12 reading support for schools, libraries, teachers, reading specialists, curriculum leaders, and administrators. This growing collection includes guides to children’s book publishers, magazines for children and teens, major children’s and young adult book awards, award-winning titles, and classroom-ready reading activities such as our unique Summer Reading Challenge game.

The resources on K-12 Reading List are curated and written with input from experienced educators, school librarians, and highly qualified teachers, with a focus on useful, specific, and age-appropriate reading guidance for elementary, middle, and high school students. This section is expanded regularly, so educators can return to find new resources for library development, curriculum planning, family reading support, student engagement, and schoolwide literacy initiatives.
