Tori Bovalino biography

Tori Bovalino is an American author known for her work in young adult and horror fiction. She is recognized for novels such as The Devil Makes Three, which was published in 2021 by Page Street Kids. The novel blends dark academia with supernatural elements and received attention for its atmospheric style and immersive storytelling.

Bovalino has also written Not Good for Maidens, released in 2022. This novel draws inspiration from Christina Rossetti’s poem “Goblin Market” and explores folklore within a contemporary setting. In addition to her novels, she has contributed short stories to various anthologies, including Reclaim the Stars.

Bovalino holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also active as an editor and anthologist, having edited the horror anthology The Gathering Dark: An Anthology of Folk Horror, published by Page Street Kids in 2022.

The Devil Makes Three was named a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection. Bovalino’s work continues to reach readers in the United States and internationally through her published novels and contributions to anthologies.
