Teo DuVall is a queer Chicanx comic artist and illustrator. DuVall illustrated Brooms, a young adult graphic novel written by Jasmine Walls and coloured by Bex Glendining.
Brooms was published by Levine Querido on 10 October 2023. The book is set in an alternate historical Mississippi and follows six witches involved in illegal broom racing.
DuVall contributed illustrations to Drawn to Change the World: 16 Youth Climate Activists, 16 Artists, edited by Emma Reynolds and published by HarperAlley. The anthology presents short comics about young environmental activists and was reviewed for readers aged 8 to 12, with a publication month of September 2023.
DuVall also illustrated The Bridge: How the Roeblings Connected Brooklyn to New York, written by Peter J. Tomasi. The graphic novel tells the story of the Brooklyn Bridge’s construction and the roles of Washington Roebling and Emily Roebling in completing the project.
