Shawn Harris biography

Shawn Harris is an American author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature. He has illustrated several picture books, including Her Right Foot by Dave Eggers, published by Chronicle Books in 2017. Harris is also the author and illustrator of Have You Ever Seen a Flower?, which was published by Chronicle Books in 2021. This book was recognized as a Caldecott Honor Book in 2022.

Harris’s illustration style is noted for its use of bold colors and cut-paper techniques. In addition to his solo projects, he has collaborated with other authors, such as Mac Barnett on A Polar Bear in the Snow, published by Candlewick Press in 2020.
