Lindsay Currie biography

Lindsay Currie writes mysteries for young readers, including the Delta Games series and It’s Watching. Her work is aimed at middle-grade readers, with X Marks the Haunt given an age range of 8–12 years and grades 3–7.

Scritch Scratch, a ghost story based on real Chicago history, was published by Sourcebooks on 1 September 2020. The book centres on Claire, a science-minded girl who becomes caught up in a haunting linked to a Chicago bus tour.

The Mystery of Locked Rooms, the first Delta Games book, was published on 2 April 2024. The story follows three friends searching for hidden treasure in an abandoned 1940s fun house.

The House With No Keys, the second Delta Games book, was published on 30 September 2025. It continues the story of Sarah, West and Hannah as they face a new escape-house challenge called the Mystery Mansion.

X Marks the Haunt was published by Delacorte Press on 6 January 2026. The book is a 304-page middle-grade mystery about twelve-year-old Will Stone, a lost crypt key and a haunting at Graceland cemetery, and it was named a 2026 Astra Award nominee for Best Children’s Book.
