Jeff Probst is a children’s adventure author and the host and executive producer of the television series Survivor.

Stranded was written by Jeff Probst with Christopher Tebbetts and published by Viking Books for Young Readers on 7 February 2013. The book is a middle-grade action and adventure story for readers aged 8–12, with a Lexile level of 690L.

Stranded follows Vanessa, Buzz, Carter and Jane, four children in a newly blended family who are shipwrecked on a rocky jungle island in the South Pacific after a storm. The story centres on the children learning to work as a team while trying to survive without adults or instructions.
