Ellie Marney is an Australian author known for her young adult crime and thriller novels. Her works include the internationally bestselling None Shall Sleep series, the Every trilogy, The Killing Code, and the Circus Hearts series. Marney’s novels often explore themes of forensic science, law enforcement, and psychological suspense.
Born in northeastern Australia, Marney has lived in various countries, including Indonesia, Singapore, and India. She currently resides in rural Victoria. In addition to writing, she has worked as a teacher and has been involved in initiatives promoting Australian young adult literature, such as the #LoveOzYA campaign and the #LoveOzYAbookclub. She also serves as a Stella Prize Schools Ambassador.
