Christopher Tebbetts biography

Christopher Tebbetts writes for young readers and has worked under both Christopher Tebbetts and Chris Tebbetts. He is originally from Yellow Springs, Ohio, and is a graduate of Northwestern University. His work includes co-authoring books in James Patterson’s Middle School series, including Middle School, The Worst Years of My Life and Middle School: Get Me out of Here!, both illustrated by Laura Park.

With Jeff Probst, Tebbetts co-wrote the Stranded adventure series for middle-grade readers. The original Stranded books are Stranded, Trial by Fire and Survivors. The companion Shadow Island trilogy continues the same adventure sequence with Forbidden Passage, The Sabotage and Desperate Measures.

Tebbetts also co-wrote M or F? with Lisa Papademetriou, a young adult novel published by Penguin Young Readers Group on 10 May 2006. His earlier solo work includes Viking Pride, the first book in The Viking Saga, published in 2003.
