Bethan Woollvin is a children’s author and illustrator. She won the Macmillan Prize for Illustration in 2014 for Little Red, her interpretation of Little Red Riding Hood. She graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with a First Class Degree in Illustration in 2015.
Little Red was published by Two Hoots on 15 June 2017 as a 32-page paperback for ages 3 to 7. The book reworks the traditional Little Red Riding Hood story and was a New York Times Best Illustrated Children’s Book.
Her picture books include Rapunzel, Hansel and Gretel, I Can Catch a Monster, Three Little Vikings, Luna and the Sky Dragon and Robin Hood. Three Little Vikings, illustrated by Bethan Woollvin, was published by Two Hoots on 22 July 2021 as a 32-page paperback for ages 3 to 6.
Luna and the Sky Dragon was published by Two Hoots on 15 June 2023 as a 32-page paperback for ages 3 to 6. The story features real constellations and facts about the Milky Way, eclipses, comets and other astronomical subjects.
