Abhi Alwar biography

Abhi Alwar is an illustrator of children’s comics and picture books. Her work includes Megan Wagner Lloyd’s Super Pancake graphic-novel series, including Super Pancake, Super Pancake and the Mini Muffin Mayhem, and Super Pancake and the Terrible Toast.

Alwar illustrated Cheryl Klein’s picture book Hamsters Make Terrible Roommates and Rajani LaRocca’s picture book Summer is for Cousins. She works in comics and picture books, with a stated focus on absurd and silly stories.

Super Pancake and the Terrible Toast is a 176-page children’s graphic novel illustrated by Alwar, published by Random House Children’s Books on 11 November 2025 as book 3 in the Super Pancake series.
