Aaron Durán biography
Aarón Durán is a writer of young adult novels and comics. His writing career has included stories for Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics and Activision, and his earlier professional roles included film production and radio hosting.
Durán wrote Season of the Bruja Vol. 1, a young adult graphic novel illustrated by Sara Soler. The book begins a series about Althalia, a young bruja whose story draws on Mesoamerican culture, colonial history and inherited magical traditions.
His Season of the Bruja work includes individual issues numbered 1 to 5, as well as Season of the Bruja Vol. 1. The Spanish-language edition Temporada de brujas was published on 23 February 2023.
