Troy Cummings is an American author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature. He is the creator of the popular chapter book series The Notebook of Doom, published by Scholastic. The series follows the adventures of Alexander Bopp as he encounters monsters in his new town. Cummings has also written and illustrated picture books, including Can I Be Your Dog?, which tells the story of a dog searching for a home.
In addition to his own books, Cummings has illustrated works by other authors. His illustrations are recognized for their humor and expressive characters. Cummings’s books have been featured in school and library reading programs across the United States.
His picture book Can I Be Your Dog? was published by Random House Books for Young Readers in 2018.
