Tony Weaver Jr. is an author, comics creator, and educator. He is the founder and CEO of Weird Enough Productions, a social-impact organization that develops diverse comics and classroom resources. Weaver created the WEBTOON Original series The UnCommons, a contemporary superhero story produced with his team at Weird Enough Productions.

Weaver is the author of the middle-grade graphic novel Weirdo (First Second, September 17, 2024), illustrated by Jes and Cin Wibowo. The book follows an eleven-year-old who loves comics and anime and learns to navigate bullying, self-doubt, and mental health challenges. Weirdo received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly and Kirkus Reviews.

His education and media work have been recognized nationally. Weaver was named to the Forbes “30 Under 30” Education list in 2018. University and fellowship profiles note his ongoing efforts to pair storytelling with social and emotional learning for school communities.
