Tim Probert biography

Tim Probert is an author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature and graphic novels. He is the creator of the middle grade graphic novel series Lightfall, published by HarperAlley, an imprint of HarperCollins. The first book in the series, Lightfall: The Girl & the Galdurian, was published in 2020, followed by Lightfall: Shadow of the Bird in 2022. Probert both writes and illustrates the Lightfall series, which features a fantasy adventure set in the world of Irpa.

In addition to his work as a graphic novelist, Probert has illustrated picture books and contributed artwork to various projects. He illustrated Pickle by Kim Baker, published by Roaring Brook Press in 2012, and The Only Game in Town by Lacie Waldon, published by Putnam in 2023. Probert has also worked as an art director and illustrator for animation, including projects for clients such as Nickelodeon and DreamWorks.
