Tashie Bhuiyan is an author of young adult fiction. She is known for writing contemporary novels that explore themes of identity, family, and self-discovery. Bhuiyan’s debut novel, Counting Down with You, was published by Inkyard Press in 2021. The book follows a Bangladeshi-American teenager navigating cultural expectations and her own aspirations.
Bhuiyan has also written A Show for Two, published by Inkyard Press in 2022. This novel centers on a high school student who dreams of becoming a filmmaker and forms an unexpected connection with a new student. Her works often feature South Asian protagonists and draw on her own experiences as a Bangladeshi-American.
In addition to her novels, Bhuiyan has contributed to anthologies and has been active in the young adult literary community. Her writing has been recognized for its authentic representation of cultural identity and the immigrant experience.
Her novel Counting Down with You was published in 2021.
