Roger Priddy biography

Roger Priddy is a publisher and author known for his influential work in early childhood education books. He began his career as a designer at Usborne Publishing before joining Dorling Kindersley, where he contributed to several successful titles for young readers. In 2000, Priddy founded Priddy Books, an imprint of Macmillan Publishers, specializing in board books, activity books, and interactive formats for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Priddy Books has released a wide range of popular titles, including First 100 Words, First 100 Animals, Happy Baby, and the Wipe Clean series. His books are characterized by simple text, bright photographs, and robust materials designed for young children. Priddy’s books have sold over 100 million copies and have been translated into more than 35 languages.

His publishing work has been recognized with multiple industry awards, including honors from Practical Pre-School and the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio.
