Rachel Lynn Solomon biography

Rachel Lynn Solomon is an American author known for her contemporary fiction and romance novels for both young adults and adults. She grew up in Seattle, Washington, and her work often features characters navigating relationships, identity, and personal growth. Solomon holds a degree in journalism from the University of Washington.

Her debut young adult novel, You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2018. The book explores the story of twin sisters facing a genetic test for Huntington’s disease. Solomon has since written several other young adult novels, including Our Year of Maybe (2019) and Today Tonight Tomorrow (2020), both published by Simon & Schuster.

In addition to her young adult work, Solomon writes adult romance novels. Her adult debut, The Ex Talk, was published by Berkley in 2021. She has also published Weather Girl (2022) and Business or Pleasure (2023) with Berkley. Her books have been recognized for their exploration of complex relationships and emotional depth.

Solomon’s novel Today Tonight Tomorrow was named a 2021 Sydney Taylor Honor Book by the Association of Jewish Libraries.
