Paula Harrison is a British author known for her children’s books, particularly in the genres of adventure and fantasy. She began her career as a primary school teacher before turning to writing. Harrison is the author of several popular series, including The Rescue Princesses, which debuted in 2012 and features stories about princesses who embark on animal rescue missions. She has also written the Secret Rescuers series, which centers on children who help magical creatures, and the Kitty series, about a young girl with cat-like superpowers.

Harrison’s works are published by Nosy Crow and Scholastic, among others. Her books are aimed primarily at early readers and middle-grade audiences, and they often focus on themes of friendship, bravery, and helping others.
