Natasha Preston biography

Natasha Preston is a British author known for her young adult thrillers and contemporary romance novels. She began her writing career in 2010 after discovering the online platform Wattpad, where she initially shared her stories. Her debut novel, Silence, was self-published in 2012.

Preston gained significant attention with her thriller The Cellar, which was first published on Wattpad and later released by Sourcebooks Fire in 2014. The novel became a #1 New York Times bestseller and remained on the Young Adult Paperback list for 18 weeks. Following this success, she published several other thrillers, including Awake (2015), The Cabin (2016), You Will Be Mine (2018), and The Lost (2019).

In 2020, Preston began publishing with Delacorte Press, releasing titles such as The Twin (2020), The Lake (2021), The Fear (2022), The Island (2023), and The Haunting (2023). Many of these works achieved bestseller status, with The Island spending 12 weeks and The Haunting 16 weeks on the New York Times Young Adult Paperback list.

In 2024, her novel The Dare was published, followed by The Party later that year. The Party debuted at #6 on the New York Times Young Adult Paperback list.
