Maria Scrivan is an American author, cartoonist, and illustrator known for her work in children’s literature and comics. She is the creator of the syndicated comic strip Half Full, which has appeared in newspapers and online since 2013. Scrivan’s work has also been featured in publications such as Mad Magazine, National Lampoon, and Parade.
Scrivan is the author and illustrator of the middle grade graphic novel series Nat Enough, published by Scholastic Graphix. The first book in the series, Nat Enough, was released in 2020, followed by sequels including Forget Me Nat (2020), Absolutely Nat (2021), and Nat for Nothing (2022). The series explores themes of friendship, self-acceptance, and middle school experiences through the perspective of the protagonist, Natalie.
In addition to her graphic novels, Scrivan has contributed cartoons to greeting cards, magazines, and other media. She is a member of the National Cartoonists Society.
Maria Scrivan’s graphic novel Nat Enough was published by Scholastic Graphix in 2020.
