Kelly Conroy biography

Kelly Conroy is a children’s book writer and poet whose work includes picture books and board books for young readers. She is also an actuary, a career fact connected with her stated interest in numerical as well as whimsical subjects. She is represented by Sarah Stephens at Red Fox Literary.

Her picture book You Are My Everything was published by Tiger Tales on 5 November 2024. The book was illustrated by Abigail Hookham, runs to 32 pages, and is aimed at children aged 3 to 7. Its story uses rhyming language to show an elephant parent’s love for a calf.

I See You in the Stars: A Zodiac Book for Babies was published on 6 January 2026 as a 20-page board book. Sadie Han illustrated the book, which introduces astrological signs and constellations for babies and toddlers through simple text and an interactive cover.

Here a Creak, There a Shriek! was published by Tiger Tales on 7 July 2026. Nikolas Ilic illustrated the 32-page picture book, which is aimed at children aged 3 to 7 and turns the pattern of “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” into a Halloween farm rhyme with witches, ghosts, beasts and a barn dance.
