Justin Eisinger is an American author and editor known for his work in graphic novels and nonfiction. He serves as Editorial Director, Graphic Novels & Collections at IDW Publishing, where he has overseen a range of projects spanning licensed properties and original works. Eisinger is a co-author of the nonfiction graphic novel They Called Us Enemy, which was published by Top Shelf Productions in 2019. The book, created in collaboration with George Takei, Steven Scott, and artist Harmony Becker, recounts Takei’s childhood experiences in Japanese American internment camps during World War II. They Called Us Enemy received critical recognition and was named a 2020 American Library Association (ALA) Notable Children’s Book.
