Jenny Løvlie biography

Jenny Løvlie is a Norwegian illustrator and picture book artist known for her vibrant and expressive artwork. She studied illustration and animation at Kingston University in London. Løvlie’s debut as a picture book illustrator was with The Girls, written by Lauren Ace and published by Little Tiger in 2018. Her illustrations have been recognized for their warmth and attention to detail, often drawing inspiration from her upbringing on the coast of Norway.

Løvlie has collaborated with several authors and publishers, contributing to a range of children’s books. Her work includes titles such as Friends by Lauren Ace and the Emperor of the Ice series by Nicola Davies. In addition to her illustration work, Løvlie has also created artwork for educational materials and magazines.

Jenny Løvlie received the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize for Illustrated Books in 2019 for The Girls.
