Jarrett J. Krosoczka is an American author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature, particularly graphic novels and picture books. He is the creator of the Lunch Lady graphic novel series, which debuted in 2009 with Lunch Lady and the Cyborg Substitute published by Alfred A. Knopf. The series follows the adventures of a crime-fighting school lunch lady and has received recognition for its appeal to young readers.

Krosoczka has also written and illustrated the Punk Farm picture books, beginning with Punk Farm in 2005, published by Alfred A. Knopf. His work often features humor and themes relevant to children and young adults. In addition to his fiction, Krosoczka authored the graphic memoir Hey, Kiddo, published by Graphix in 2018. Hey, Kiddo was a National Book Award Finalist for Young People’s Literature in 2018.
