Jacqueline Jules is an American author, poet, and librarian known for her contributions to children’s literature. She has written numerous books for young readers, including picture books, early readers, and chapter books. Jules is the author of the Sofia Martinez series, published by Picture Window Books, which features a young Latina protagonist navigating everyday adventures. She has also written the Zachary’s Zoo series and the Zapato Power series, which follows a boy with super-powered shoes.

In addition to her fiction, Jules has published poetry collections for children, such as Tag Your Dreams: Poems of Play and Persistence (Albert Whitman & Company, 2020). Her work often explores themes of family, culture, and perseverance. Jules has also written books with Jewish themes, including The Hardest Word and Never Say a Mean Word Again, both published by Kar-Ben Publishing.

Jacqueline Jules’s writing has received recognition from various organizations.
