Emily Raymond is an American writer and collaborator on young adult and crossover fiction. She has coauthored multiple titles with James Patterson across Hachette Book Group imprints, including the YA romance First Love, the near-future novel Humans, Bow Down, the contemporary mystery Expelled, the fantasy novel Sophia, Princess Among Beasts, and the graphic novel The Runaway’s Diary illustrated by Valeria Wicker. Additional collaborations include The Girl in the Castle, Raised by Wolves, Emma on Fire, the story collection Two from the Heart, and work connected to the “Witch & Wizard” universe with The Lost.

Publisher materials also credit Raymond as the ghostwriter of several young adult novels, including one that reached number one on the New York Times bestseller list. Her projects span realistic contemporary stories, speculative thrillers, and illustrated narratives for classroom and independent reading.
