Edward Bloor is an American author known for his novels for young readers. He attended Fordham University, where he earned a degree in English. Before becoming a full-time writer, Bloor worked as a high school teacher and editor. His debut novel, Tangerine, was published by Harcourt in 1997 and has been recognized for its exploration of family dynamics and environmental issues. Bloor has also written other books for young readers, including Crusader (2000), Story Time (2004), and London Calling (2006). His novel Tangerine was named an American Library Association Top Ten Best Book for Young Adults in 1998.
