Danielle Valentine is an American author specializing in horror and thriller fiction for young adult and adult audiences. She has published under multiple pseudonyms, including Danielle Vega, Danielle Rollins, and Ellie Rollins. Her work is known for its exploration of fear, identity, and the supernatural.
Under the name Danielle Vega, she authored The Merciless series, beginning in 2014. This series has been translated into several languages and was optioned for film adaptation by Lionsgate. Other works under this pseudonym include Survive the Night (2015), The Haunted (2019), and its sequel, The Unleashed (2020).
As Danielle Rollins, she wrote the Dark Stars trilogy, starting with Stolen Time (2019), followed by Twisted Fates (2020) and Dark Stars (2021). She also authored standalone novels such as Burning (2016) and Breaking (2017).
Writing as Danielle Valentine, she released How to Survive Your Murder in 2022, a young adult thriller. Her first adult novel, Delicate Condition (2023), served as the basis for the twelfth season of the television series American Horror Story. Subsequent works include Two Sides to Every Murder (2024) and the forthcoming The Dead Husband Cookbook (2025).
Valentine’s work has been recognized for its compelling narratives and has been translated into multiple languages.
