Corey Rosen Schwartz is an American children’s author known for her playful and inventive picture books. She has written several fractured fairy tales and rhyming stories that introduce young readers to classic tales with a humorous twist. Schwartz is the author of The Three Ninja Pigs, illustrated by Dan Santat and published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young Readers in 2012. This book reimagines the story of the Three Little Pigs with a martial arts theme and has been followed by related titles such as Ninja Red Riding Hood and Hensel and Gretel: Ninja Chicks.

In addition to her ninja-themed books, Schwartz has co-authored other picture books, including What About Moose? with Rebecca J.
