Christopher Golden biography

Christopher Golden writes horror, thriller and fantasy fiction, and his novels include Ararat, All Hallows, Road of Bones, Snowblind, Red Hands and The House of Last Resort. Ararat won a Bram Stoker Award, and Golden has received Bram Stoker Award nominations in eight different categories.

Golden has worked in several forms beyond prose fiction, including comic books, video games, screenplays and online animation. With Mike Mignola, he co-created the comic book series Baltimore and Joe Golem: Occult Detective.

Golden has also edited horror anthologies, including Seize the Night and The New Dead. He won the Shirley Jackson Award for co-editing The Twisted Book of Shadows.

His work with Amber Benson includes the online animated series Ghosts of Albion. In 2023, Golden and Benson co-wrote and co-directed the Audible Original podcast Slayers: A Buffyverse Story.
