Adam Staffaroni is a comics editor, writer, and media creator for young readers. He is the co-creator of The Curie Society, a science-adventure graphic novel series published by The MIT Press, developed with creative partner Heather Einhorn. The series follows college-age protagonists tackling high-stakes missions grounded in real STEM concepts and has expanded through multiple volumes.
Staffaroni is an executive producer at EEP Universe (Einhorn’s Epic Productions), where he develops youth-focused storytelling across books, podcasts, and digital media. His projects include the teen detective franchise Lethal Lit: A Tig Torres Mystery—originating as a scripted podcast and continuing in print with a young adult novel from Scholastic—as well as additional transmedia properties for middle-grade and teen audiences.
Before co-founding EEP Universe, Staffaroni worked in editorial roles on licensed and original comics, with credits that include series featuring characters such as Punky Brewster, Care Bears, Peanuts, and the Muppets. His background reflects a focus on accessible, character-driven storytelling designed to engage new and developing readers.
He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and earned an MFA from the Center for Cartoon Studies as a member of its inaugural graduating class.
