Adam Mansbach biography

Adam Mansbach is an American author, screenwriter, and cultural critic known for his work across multiple genres, including fiction, humor, and children’s literature. He is the author of the satirical picture book Go the F**k to Sleep, which was published by Akashic Books in 2011. The book became widely recognized for its humorous take on the challenges of parenting and was illustrated by Ricardo Cortés.

Mansbach has also written novels such as Angry Black White Boy and The End of the Jews. His work often explores themes of race, identity, and culture. In addition to his books, Mansbach has contributed essays and articles to publications including The New York Times, The Guardian, and Esquire.

He has taught at Rutgers University and has been involved in screenwriting, including co-writing the screenplay for the film Barry, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016. Mansbach’s book Go the F**k to Sleep was named Time Magazine’s 2011 “Book of the Year.”
