Aaron Durán is an American writer and media producer known for his work in comics, radio, and young adult fiction. He has contributed to the comic book industry as both a writer and editor, working with publishers such as Image Comics and Oni Press. Durán is the creator and writer of the comic series Season of the Bruja, which explores themes of heritage and identity through the lens of Latinx folklore and magic. The series, illustrated by Sara Soler, was published by Oni Press in 2022.
In addition to his work in comics, Durán has experience in radio production and podcasting. He is a co-host and producer of the long-running podcast “Geek in the City Radio,” which covers topics related to pop culture, comics, and community events. Durán has also contributed articles and reviews to various media outlets, focusing on comics, film, and pop culture analysis.
